Buzzin' Fly's special, jubilee, 50th release.
Cooperation between Hamburg-based deep & tech house revelation Stimming, owner of the Buzzin Fly label, former half of Everything But The Girl, Ben Watt and jazzy vocalist Julia Biel. It's a truly explosive combination of talents, but again, it's a jubilee release so it had to be absolute state of the earth. Is it? The release includes 2 mixes of the same track - sunrise & sunset. I will stick to the Sunset mix, cause it just suits me better, fulfilling my every expectation I have towards good track. It's mellow and deep, but groovy at the same time, furthermore Julia Biel's amazing voice takes us to a crowded bar in 1940's, where she sings to an old ribbon microphone to accompaniment of delicate piano and spacious synths completing the charm. This tracks floats miles away from the standard deep house-pulp that is being released nowadays. I really hope it will not only be one-off intelligent release, cause it's getting harder and harder to find quality music in the ocean of mediocrity...
